    Scaf le Phoque is a French children's book published in 1936 by Flammarion, written by Lida Durdikova and illustrated by Feodor Rojankovsky. 

    The story follows a colony of harbor seals seeking refuge in the Arctic to escape hunters. The book is known for its beautifully detailed lithograph illustrations by Rojankovsky, which contribute to its unique artistic style.  

    It was part of the "Albums du Père Castor" collection, a famous series of illustrated children’s books in France. Since its original release, Scaf le Phoque has been reprinted multiple times, remaining a classic in French children's literature.
